Know who is opening, hiring and leaving, as it happens.
A competitor's new centre shows up in the news months before it shows up in headcount. CapSight reads published headlines about GCC setups, expansions, leadership moves and policy, checks and scores them, ties them to the companies in the directory, and keeps them in one feed you can filter by tier, category and period.

- New GCCs, expansions and leadership moves
- Each story checked and scored
- Tied to the company in the directory
The GCC list this page draws on.

A new centre announced, with the hiring that goes with it.
A screen from the product itself. The counts beside it are read from the platform directory.

- 4,439

- 35

Track Expansions, in four parts.
Each part is something the product does today, with the data it uses named on the page.
One feed for the market
New GCCs, expansions, hiring moves, leadership changes, policy and real estate in a single stream, ranked by how strong the signal is and then by recency, with the headline and its publication.
Verified, not just collected
Each story is checked before it appears and scored for how strongly it signals a real move, so a rumour does not sit beside a filing.
Tied to the directory
A story about a company links to its profile, so an announcement is read beside its size, footprint and pay position.
A year in GCC news
An overview of the period: how many setups, expansions and moves there were, by tier and category, and which stories led.
One market, twelve decisions.
The same list of GCCs, the same cities and the same pay benchmarks sit under every solution, so where to build, what to build, what to pay and whom to hire are answered from one set of facts that agree with each other.

From a headline to a signal
Every story goes through the same four steps before it reaches the feed.
- Step 1
Read
Published headlines about GCC setups and expansions, collected on a schedule.
- Step 2
Verify
Each is checked against the company and the claim, and discarded if it does not hold.
- Step 3
Score
Graded for how strongly it points to a real move, and tagged by category and tier.
- Step 4
Match
Linked to the company in the directory, so it sits beside the profile.
Ask the question the way you would ask a colleague.
These are the kinds of questions this page is built for. Each one is answered from the data on it, not from a general model of the market.

Who is expanding in Tier 2 cities?
Which leadership changes happened at the centres I track?
What are peers announcing in my industry?
Where is new office space being taken?

The terms on this page, defined.
Every figure on a CapSight page comes with its definition, so you never have to guess what a number is counting.
- GCC
- A Global Capability Centre: a centre a company runs in India for its own global work, such as engineering, analytics, finance, operations or support. It is part of the company, not an outside vendor.
- Platform Industry
- The one industry grouping CapSight uses for every company, so a filter or a chart means the same thing on every page. There are 10.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities
- Tier 1 is the eight established hubs: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Every other city is Tier 2.
- CTC
- Cost to company: the annual total an employer commits to one person, shown in lakh rupees. One lakh is 100,000.
- Percentile band (P25, P50, P75, P90)
- P50 is the median: half the people in the sample earn less. P25 and P75 mark the edges of the middle half, and P90 marks the top tenth. A pay figure is always read with its band.
- Build journey
- A documented account of how a comparable centre started: its first city, its first team and how it grew, with each figure cited to its source.
Before you ask.
How often does it update?
On a schedule, and each story carries the date it was published. The feed shows when it last ran.
Can a story be wrong?
Stories are checked and scored before they appear, but a headline is still a report of a plan. Each one shows its publication so you can read the original.
Is it open to everyone?
A market summary is open on Live Signals. The full feed, with filters and company links, is in the product.
