Describe who you need. Meet the people who fit.
Setting up or growing a centre comes down to people: the leaders who have run one, the specialists a team needs, the engineers a peer is hiring. CapSight's contact database turns a brief written in your own words into a shortlist of the closest profiles across GCCs, which you can keep in a project and reach out to.

Find GCC Leaders, in four parts.
Each part is something the product does today, with the data it uses named on the page.
Search by a sentence
Write what you need, for example engineering directors in Bengaluru with fifteen years in the field, and the closest matches come back ranked against your brief.
Filters beside the brief
Narrow by company, location, function and seniority when the sentence is not enough, and see how the shortlist changes.
A shortlist you keep
Save the people you want into a project on the server, private to your account, so the search is not repeated next week.
Beside the organisation
Read a leader next to the centre's organisation and the company's profile, so you know whom they lead and what the centre does.
One market, twelve decisions.
The same list of GCCs, the same cities and the same pay benchmarks sit under every solution, so where to build, what to build, what to pay and whom to hire are answered from one set of facts that agree with each other.

From a brief to a shortlist
The way a search runs, so you know what to expect from each step.
- Step 1
Describe
Write the brief in your own words, or start from a suggestion.
- Step 2
Shortlist
The closest profiles are ranked against your brief.
- Step 3
Narrow
Add filters and remove anyone who does not fit.
- Step 4
Keep
File the ones that fit into a project.
Ask the question the way you would ask a colleague.
These are the kinds of questions this page is built for. Each one is answered from the data on it, not from a general model of the market.
Who runs engineering at the GCCs in Hyderabad?
Who are the site leaders at the centres of the companies I benchmark?
Who are the data and AI leaders at BFSI centres in Pune?
Which cloud and infrastructure heads are in Bengaluru and Chennai?
Who leads product and platform at the peers I benchmark?
How do I keep the people I shortlisted for later?
From first look to a decision you can show.
Write the brief
Say who you need, where and how senior, as you would to a colleague.
Read the shortlist
See the closest profiles and why each one matches.
Refine
Filter and remove until the list holds the people you would call.
Save to a project
Keep the shortlist in a project, private to your account.
Built for the people who own the decision.
Leadership and executive hiring teams
A shortlist of people who have done the job at a centre like yours.
Founders of a first centre
To meet the leaders of comparable centres and learn from them.
Talent partners and consultants
A faster route from a mandate to the right names.
What is in it, and what is not yet.
We say plainly what the data holds today and what we are still adding, so nothing here is implied.
- Search written in plain language, with filters to narrow the shortlist
- Projects that keep saved people private to your account
- Profiles linked to the company and the centre's organisation
- More ways to filter by background and tenure
The terms on this page, defined.
Every figure on a CapSight page comes with its definition, so you never have to guess what a number is counting.
- GCC
- A Global Capability Centre: a centre a company runs in India for its own global work, such as engineering, analytics, finance, operations or support. It is part of the company, not an outside vendor.
- Platform Industry
- The one industry grouping CapSight uses for every company, so a filter or a chart means the same thing on every page. There are 10.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities
- Tier 1 is the eight established hubs: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Every other city is Tier 2.
- CTC
- Cost to company: the annual total an employer commits to one person, shown in lakh rupees. One lakh is 100,000.
- Percentile band (P25, P50, P75, P90)
- P50 is the median: half the people in the sample earn less. P25 and P75 mark the edges of the middle half, and P90 marks the top tenth. A pay figure is always read with its band.
- Build journey
- A documented account of how a comparable centre started: its first city, its first team and how it grew, with each figure cited to its source.
Before you ask.
Is the database public?
No. Profiles are available inside the product to signed-in accounts. The open pages on this site show market figures, never individuals.
Can I see everyone?
Searches return the closest matches in pages, and people who have asked to be removed do not appear.
Do you pass on contact details?
Ask for access and we will show you what your account can see.
Bring the GCC decision you are working on.
Where to put the next 300 engineers, what a peer pays its architects, who owns the charter you are selling into. Ask it in CapSight, and see the market, the peers and the people behind the answer.
