Every GCC in India, findable in one place.
The directory is the base layer of CapSight: 2,500 companies with a centre or a footprint in India, grouped into 10 Platform Industries and located across 35 Indian cities. Search by name, browse by industry or ask a question in plain language, and open any company's profile from the result.

GCC Directory, in four parts.
Each part is something the product does today, with the data it uses named on the page.
Search that finds the company
Type a company name and open its profile, or start from the largest centres in India and work down the list.
One industry taxonomy
Every company belongs to one Platform Industry, so an industry filter or chart means the same thing on every screen of the product.
Ask in plain language
Describe the slice you want, such as healthcare centres in Hyderabad with more than a thousand staff, and the filters are set for you.
Tiers and locations
Browse by city, state and Tier 1 or Tier 2, with the hub counts that explain where the market concentrates.
The market, company by company.
Every GCC on the list has a profile, and every profile rolls up into the cities, industries, skills and pay layers you filter by. Start from the whole market and narrow to one company, or start from one company and see the market around it.

Ask the question the way you would ask a colleague.
These are the kinds of questions this page is built for. Each one is answered from the data on it, not from a general model of the market.
Which are the largest GCCs in India by reported workforce?
How many centres does a company operate, and in which cities?
Which industries concentrate in Hyderabad compared with Pune?
Which global parents have the most centres in India?
Which Tier 2 cities have a growing number of centres?
Which companies are new to India this year?
From first look to a decision you can show.
Start broad
Browse the largest centres or an industry, or ask a question in plain language.
Narrow
Filter by industry, city, tier and size until the list is the one you need.
Open a profile
Move from the list to the company's profile for scale, pay, hiring and people.
Save and share
Keep the companies you track on a watchlist and carry them into a report.
Built for the people who own the decision.

What is in it, and what is not yet.
We say plainly what the data holds today and what we are still adding, so nothing here is implied.
- 2,500 companies, each in one of 10 Platform Industries
- India headquarters city, headcount bands and setup period
- Global parent, headquarters city and country
- Natural-language search over the filters
- Contact-level data for every centre

The terms on this page, defined.
Every figure on a CapSight page comes with its definition, so you never have to guess what a number is counting.
- GCC
- A Global Capability Centre: a centre a company runs in India for its own global work, such as engineering, analytics, finance, operations or support. It is part of the company, not an outside vendor.
- Platform Industry
- The one industry grouping CapSight uses for every company, so a filter or a chart means the same thing on every page. There are 10.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities
- Tier 1 is the eight established hubs: Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Every other city is Tier 2.
- Operating centre
- A company's presence in one city. A GCC with centres in three cities has three, which is why centres outnumber GCCs.
- Setup year
- The year a company set up its India GCC, where it is recorded: 1,895 of 2,500 companies have one. It is the basis of the setup eras the skyline shows.
- Median and percentiles
- The median (P50) is the middle value: half the sample sits below it. Percentiles show the spread around it, so a median is never quoted without its band.
Before you ask.
Which companies are included?
Companies that meet the product's visibility rule: at least one of revenue, entity workforce or India headcount is held. The rest are not shown.
How often is the directory refreshed?
After each refresh of the company list. Views state their data-as-of period.
